CMANN are you talking of the old compressers shaped up like a V-Twin motorcycle motor?
If you are I'd like to see someone put that in the same hole as our factory compressers
I don't know how long our compressers would last doing this. A working A/C system uses a lubricant that's circulated around with the freon and returned to the compresser. To make it pressure a tank you'd use the pressure side and leave the suction open to air with a filter. This would let its oil pump off in the tank and no lube for it. If you could devise a way to feed the suction side with some lube then your factory one could work fine.
FWIW the factory comps can pump 250psi and live fine
