Right by the fuel kill lever on that square plate where it says made in germany, it'll have the numbers 184 (N/IC) or 205 (I/C).Either one will work, KSB is different on the two pumps, as well as a slight difference in the camplates.
'90 D250 R/C,727,IC,6x.009's,1/8" bump,fuel psi,straight pipe w/5" stack.
'90 W250 R/C,47rh,K@N,HX35,1/8" bump,2nd gen IC,boost,egt,trans temp.3.07's.

Some guys on NETDP said even some late p pumpers had the 53 block. It was a choice of Brazil, or what?, mexico. Somuch for american steel. I had my share of brazil blocks with the ford ranger 2.0's junk!

My father and brother both have '97's with a #53 block, and a close friend has an '01 with a #53 block. It seems the years are all over the place.
