Turbo Help

Postby Horicon93 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 7:37 pm

Forgive my ignorance of turbo terminology, I haven't had the need to research upgrading mine yet so I'm unfamiliar with the nomenclature. My buddy's '93 H1C (IC, auto) has excessive shaft play and the Inducer(?) wheel is polishing the housing (on the air intake side). I have a spare H1C from a '90/nonIC/manual truck but the air intake is much smaller. Can the intake side of the the 2 be swapped so we can get him back on the road? Thanks.

Not without swapping the wheels as well.
