Larger pump drive gear ??

I was thinking, since a ve pump pushes more fuel at low rpms would a larger diameter gear reduce the pump rpms enough ?
Diamond eye 4 inch turbo back, Glowshift boost, egt, oil pressure,hx35 , 3200 rpm spring, full power screw 2 turns, denny T II fuel pin, Home made Cold air intake, Alto reds and tci TC in a 518, 5x12's from diesel auto power.

Won't work. You would have to fab a new gearcase to mount the pump farther from the cam, then it would screw up the fuel timing. The gear is sized to allow the pump to turn 1 revolution to the cranks 2 revs. Like a distributor, (which is actually is).

Why would you want to lower the pump RPM?
