I/C...? Please explain?

Postby shoot4fun » Tue Feb 12, 2008 3:44 pm

Could someone explain to the newbie D.A. what the I/C stands for? I've seen it in several posts, and I'd like to know if my '92 is, or isn't?

OK. Quit laughing...

And aftercooler and intercooler are the same thing. That one confused me for a little while.

Thanks guys. I figured it out shortly after posting. I'm kinda slow. You all will just have to learn to live with it. My wife has made it 16 years so far...Obviously she ain't too bright either

My brother-in-law calls it 'air to air'. Irritates the crap out of me...

Begle1, I know it's a fairly accurate description, but he's a truck driver. He's forgot more about this crap than I'll ever know, but in everything else in life he's dumb as a post. Love him to death, but it still gripes me.

To me, intercooler is the air to air, and aftercooler is the air to water in the intake. Of course, I could be wrong!

but I doubt it! ;)
