It'll be in the last couple pages. Having 40 posts per page has its perks. Letting others see what part of a thread I'm talking about is not one of them

His definition of spooled, I agree with.... but it sounds like his poor spooling is perhaps tuning. I only read the last page, but Shit.... my ve could spool a 364 before 2000 rpms.

I've never driven a turbo that progressively spools while the rpms go up. Mine always is a off, off, off, bam full spool.

I'm going to agree with tuning being an issue, but it seems he's arguing for arguments sake. I Did mention your rc, and he doesn't believe that it's possible you can spool your 62 as fast as you do

I'm not Tom, but in order for an RH to shift on its own you need a governor in the tail housing.

Pete, you'd have to change out the overdrive housing and works also, that's where the governor is, all of them I've ever seen, the units with the gov in them are a good bit longer, maybe six inches or so.
93 w250 6 speed 4" exhaust, caution, work truck, she's no beauty. building 1 ton dually 4x4, dana 80, 48rh, 205 Scratch the one ton, bought frt. dually 4x4 98 12 valve with the tiny rear doors. rides so much better than the 93.

That 40 posts per page is awesome. I have every forum with that option set up that way

Thanks guys. I never even thought about that. When I redid my RE I didn't even notice it had no governor. In my defense, it had been over 20 years since I had been in a dodge trans. ;)
So I guess that wouldn't work for an easy upgrade swap.

That he does. I Got my 467 from him. From what he says they spent about 50k on testing different turbos on the 6.7's. Their race truck runs an s500sx 91mm as a single, and after i think hardway performance played with the tuning it spools at 2500rpm

Well when we have proof of 467-480 turbos on a 6.7 spooling faster than he's claiming his 364 is spooling an argument is going to ensue
