Load Range D Tires

Postby 1990 » Tue Nov 08, 2011 5:22 am

My D250 had load range D tires on it. Now that's i've put the 4WD axle underneath it, i've noticed they look like they can't handle the extra weight?

Lately the the tires will flat spot after sitting for one night and even during work.

My tires are D's. BFG All-Terrain 33x12.5. Work just fine...and I've filled the bed with mulch more than a few times. :)

Maybe it's because of the 16.5 inch wheels. I dunno...definitely Load Range D. My dad calls them 'maypops'. ;)

I just traided tires with my daughter, her's were Dayton Temberline 285-75-16's load (D) with a max of 3305 lbs with 65 psi.

The ones i gave her were Yokahoma Geolander 235-85-16 load (E) with a max load of 3100 at 85 psi.

don't know what's up with that but i like the Daytons better.....to bad there discontinued.
