2wd or 4wd? front or rear? If its 2wd there is no stud made that will work, because of the size of the knurl.

its a 2wd truck. they dont even make one if you drill out the stud holes bigger? is it just the size of the hole or the lenght of the knurl that why they dont fit? im willing to drill the hubs out bigger, i just dont want to make 50million trips to the parts store.

I dont have the specks on me, but the factory 1/3" wheel stud has a knurl diameter of like .700", and the biggest 9/16 I could find was like .680". I work at a parts store, so i spent a long time looking for some for my own truck, i even went to the competetors and dug threw there catalogs. NOTHING. The only thing I could find was ARP said they would make them for me, but I decided not to.

I basically went through the same thing when I was trying to come up with a wheel/tire combo. At first I just wanted to upgrade the studs and get wider wheels with a little more offset. The studs seemed to be made of unobtainium. One guy somewhere said there was one with a "close" knurl that could be used if you had a heavy press to get them in, but I don't generally do stuff like that as a rule of thumb. I have a 20-ton press, but some things should never be kludged like that.
