Best way to put the binders on the rust?

The top of my cab and hood are starting to rust. What products has anyone had good success with? I just need to stop it for this winter, body work will happen next summer then the truck will have a permenant home in the garage. I found a company called "rust bullet" anyone hear of it? what has worked for you guys? Thanks in advance!

I used rust bullet on some wheel arches that I "clearanced" several years ago, still no signs of rust. Just DO NOT get it on your hands, absolutely won't wash off!!! Same applies to por15 etc.

Ok sweet, I looked at their website and the before and after pics look pretty good. Is that stuff terribly expensive?

I have no clue how much it cost, it was in the trunk of an old Volvo I bought so I used it. I can tell you that it works though.

If you put por15 over rust it will never return. I actually put gloss black in my whole bed just to prevent it (my truck has a perfect bed) and I painted my floors and flooded my rockers to keep my original rust free body rust free. If your part will see sun you should top coat it. I top coated my bed with tractor supply alkyd enamel tractor paint oil based. Por15 with a good strong oil paint over it is tough to beat. If you have loose rust you need to wire brush it first so the por can encapsulate it properly.

Eastwood gets a good buck for their stuff. Find what you want then search for it on the web and you can find it cheaper.
