Yesterday I replaced the reciever drier, expansion valve and chopped in a condensor in an attempt to get the A/C working. Just gotta vac it down and see if she's good.

Hopefully be able to cruise to Michaels place in two week with cool air blowing in my face.

BTW, alot of cutting was required on the lower filler panel. :lol:

My water pump for the air/water IC sits where the AC compressor used to, I took out everything from the condenser to the heater core and chucked it...somewhere.

It's not so bad, once you get the wing glass and the kick panel opened up. I'd still totally kill for AC though.

Also, glad to see I was completely wrong about fitting stuff behind my non-IC grille. :lol:

I've never had a vehicle with working A/C so I know where your at Taco.

Yeah originally I was told an intercooler wouldn't fit up there with out goin to a 91 up grille. Guess it just depends how much stuff you want to cut up.

Not in stock form... You could always use an electric a/c compressor and modify the stock lines to work.

Well evaced the system tonight and tried charging it but the filter in the line is plugged so........

Sounds typical. You're supposed to put in a new filter everytime you open the system. A new expansion valve wouldn't hurt either, and both are fairly cheap.

I did replace the reciever/drier and expansion valve, the thing thats givin me fits is that muffler of filter or whatever it is inline right behind the compressor.

Well the AC works now, Had to cut a hole in the HVAC box the clean out the evap core, It now blows a lot harder out the vents and with the AC on it blow 44 degree air!!! Should be good enough for me. This will be weird I've never had a vehicle with working air.

Yeah it was nasty shti I spent about two hours standing on my head cleaning it out with a pick.

I did however get to test it today, It was mid 90s with a heat index of 105 and it cooled good enough to give me frosty nipples :lol:

Hey Pete, Why don't you put a rear slider in there?

Hey, Dammit, I could use a set of those! :shock:

The DAMNCHARGER's air is all hooked up, I think all it needs is a vacuuming down, oiled and charged.
