Turbo question??

I just bought a turbo off of a 94 and i want to hook the wastegate up but obviously my 90 didnt have one. on the 94's there wasnt a fitting on the boost side of the turbo like the 95 and later's. My question is where would i tap into for the wastegate control on my motor with that turbo? Would i just drill and tap a port into the the crossover tube for it? thanks for any input guys.

that would work or anywere else you can get a boost signal. If it's the wh1c just pull the vee band on the compressor housing and tap it right into the outlet like the newer trucks.

That's where I put the one I briefly experimented with last year. It's presently plugged - waiting for fuel....
