WOW, that is a massive turbo. So a 5" will get past the T case. How did you fit an air filter on, I mean, the inlet is like 2 inches from your oil filter. Thanks for the pics, very helpful.

yes a 5 inch pipe fits, its not the T-case you have to worry about its the tranny there's only like 2mm's between the pipe and the tranny.

The picture is a bit deceiving, there's enough room to get a 90 degree boot on there, the filter just touches the corner of the boot

i was looking for a picture with the filter and boot on but i cant seem to find one i will get one for you tomorrow.

Right on thank you so much. Ever since I got my first gen, I have been told that we can't run 5" pipes past that tranny mount. Ill probably just put a little dent in the pipe right there so I don't get any knocking.

There is really no reason to run 5" either. Just my opinion though.

Well I just figured if the outlet of the turbo is 5" and it will taper into 6" stack why add the restriction. Plus, it will sound a little deeper and louder turbo. JMO

I'm running the 171702 s400. It's 1.32a/r t6, 2.9" compressor wheel, 3.4" turbine wheel. It has made 40psi so far. Total boost I've only been seeing up to 70psi. A leaking intercooler probly doesn't help. Wastegate on the s300 was set to 40psi.

For oil filter clearance, a tip kta told me, just angle the s400 away from the block and oil filter. There's no reason to mount the s400 parallel to the block.

To help get 5" past the t-case, I removed the top transmission crossmember support. A ton of room will be had with it out of the way.

If you can cut, weld and fabricate, have schedule 40 steel pipe elbows and aluminized exhaust tubing available locally, you can build your complete twin set cheaper and fit to your truck yourself.

yes my bottom turbo is not parallel to the block, so i could get it by the tranny,

im not sure you you guys have issues running the pipe buy the transfer case i have 2 inches of space, i tucked my pipe in the frame.
