I make the CoolerTubz for both ways of installation, The standard set is for use with the grid heater and the Toaster Delete Coolertubz are for those in the warmer regions who would like to do away with the grid heater. There are also some for the hydra boost brake set up.

cool. While I leave in TN, it still gets cold enough to cycle my grid heater. Question is: How much of an air flow improvement do you get with a heater delete?
Almost bone stock 93' CTD. muffler and back half exhaust delete, BHAF, autometer 1600 pyro, VDO 100psi boost gauge, auto meter dual a-pillar gauge pod.

I really don't think that there is a huge difference especially at the HP levels that are common with the VE pump.
