injectors?

Postby Lee Majors » Sat Jun 28, 2008 7:25 am

Will my 215hp injectors out of my 9812v fit my 91.5 12v?

What is the limitations of the stock auto transmission on these beasts? mine is a dually with a flat bed.

I want to put the govenor spring in along with a HX35 & some injectors. Just enough to give me a little bit better excelleration.

The 2nd gen injectors have a different thread on the fuel line.

If you already have a HX35 go ahead and use it. If you don't step up to a better turbo. Go to a S300 or a Super HX40. Both require a 4' exhaust. Your wanting to throw some fuel at it the truck it needs a 4" exhaust anyway.

The stock auto has a weak converter. It will not take much for the converter to slip bad.

The only thing you could use is the nozzles from your other injectors. Although I doubt that the 215's would be any kind of improvement considdering they are probably smaller. As for acceleration, the governor spring and a maxed fuel screw accompanied with a ground pin makes for a good runner even on your stock injectors. If I were buying "off the shelf" injectors, I would seriously look at New Era's 370's and a 62/65/14 or similar turbo.

i would do what CP say!! i put some new era 370's, a gov spring, fuel screw all the way in, and a htt 71, and it turned out way better than i hoped for. even with the stock trans about to come apart, and it not wanting to hit over drive at wide open throttle, it ran a 15.4 in the 1/4.
