If you hope to tow at 400 hp with a VE, twins are the way to go in my conpletely uneducated and ignorant opinion. Is a single possible, yes. Power will be smoother and more useable with twins.

And Jason made the most with some 5x25's. :cheese:

I read a lot about people having 7 holes and switching to 5 or 6 to net not only more power but better driveability.

Yep 7 hole is crap.... but don't tell that to the people have 7 hole injectors.

It's kind of like telling us 1st genners that electronics on the new trucks are good and make more power. We just say no in spite.

Well, we have some 5x14 contagious sticks going off right now to get flow honed. Should have before and after flow readings from it within the week hopefully. Flow honing starts off at $150 (depending if other stuff needs work)

So, anyone can technically buy bosch nozzles that have been edm'd to their wanted size for around $300 and have them then flow honed and installed per their requested pop pressures for $150... being into their own custom set for under $500.00

I don't know anything about the injectors... their nozzles tested out good.

A ksb is a device that advances our timing during low operating temperatures to cut down smoke....

A timing spacer allows more timing piston movement. So basically it gives you a broader range of dynamic timing. Stock pump timing has a rough timing sweep of about 6 degrees and the spacer adds about 3 more degrees.

Those of you that have never run 7 hole injectors should not be giving advice about said injectors.

4 real

I read this here on bla bla doesn't count as knowledge,it only would count if it was actually tested by you.

If you wanna throw out second and third hand accounts then I have one for you, people than run their wonderful hooty tooty 5 holers cant work their trucks with any turbo with and inducer smaller than 62mm,all they can do is go fast, blow smoke and show their collective a$$es. Me I chose the 7hole injectors because I use my truck to haul heavy chit around,my truck and trailer alone grosses 11,5. I don't need my truck running volcanic egt temps trying to pull a hill. Truck alone I can't touch 1200° on the pyro, hauling I have to watch it but its controllable. Oh and no idle haze to gag and choke on.
I'll probably get flamed over this little book but hey....if we're all giving opinions... Theres mine ;)
all opinions are like buttholes, everyone has them and they all stink.

Can anyone name one single person who has made 400hp with a 7 hole injector? Or even 350? THE NAME OF THIS THREAD IS "BUILDING ATLEAST 400HP", not making my truck not haze or hauling alot of weight.

Most of the new 5 hole injectors are coming from CPP and DAP, they are dirty for the MOST PART.
