Something's not right with those injectors. I switched from POD's to Scheid Diesel 6x16's and gained 10psi of boost. Then to KTA's (Buddha Power) 6x18's and gained 3 more psi of boost, with NO other changes at either injector swap.

Try setting your AFC tighter to decrease fuel, that should make it quicker.

fun and games

The afc made it somewhat better - till I blew the convertor - pulled it out last nite and it sounds like a party favour inside with all the bits rattlin around in there

Kinda figured it was the converter. My 6x.018's made mine light like crazy and I had the afc bottomed too. I even have stock timing.

Oh FYI Bill there probobly edm's and come from the same place as 99% of them in the country right here in michigan.

Since you're getting a new converter, any thoughts on a lock-up converter? I know the C-6 automatics were non-lock-up, but could you adapt a lock-up style? From my reading, it seems like lock-up is beneficial in sled pulling, might be time to incorporate it?

see i would think if your trans is a non lock up then it would be better to stay that way cause a lock up convertor just has one more part in it that can fail. thats just my opinion though, im no trans specialist or anything.

1400 sounds low until you strap a 40k sled to the back end  . I bet in use it doesn't stall until 2000 (or higher).

Hard to get a big turbo or turbo's lit sled pulling with a low stall.
