I have been reading on the 14mm pump head and I need some info from a credible source. All I can find is negative hype on the 14mm and that it doesn't hold up well and it's a waste of money and blah blah blah.... I have found good builds like "rustbucket" that have had good results with one. I'm leaning towards the thinking that it's a must if big power is a goal. What supporting mods are needed when going the 14mm way? Strong lift pump? What are a good set of injectors to match with a 14mm? I will slowly be building my 1st gen to make big streetable power. Thanks for any info and knowledge.

What do you want to do with the truck? Limit the rpm, buy a good lift pump, and you have a shot....

Rule of thumb when you run a 14mm..... 3200 gov spring and airdog or liftpump of that sort

Fuel only? Or spray? Stop, or from a roll? I'm game! :D

I bet all fuel to all fuel, it would be closer than some might think..... just because the ol' model A is super super light.

well I've only gone about 110mph in it so far, i think it would do 130? maybe close to 140? Its really hard to say i know aerodynamics come into play a lot at those speeds, while its not aerodynamic it is a much smaller footprint then a truck. It does feel like gearing would run out before it becoming an issue with the power to do it.

But just a quick street drag????
