Fuel pressure levels

Postby 93flatbed » Fri Feb 24, 2012 5:37 pm

I've gotten my self an air dog 165, I've set it to 17 psi with the engine running. I've since read that our pumps start to loose dynamic timing at the 7-8 psi range. So what is my beat option here? Do I just adjust the air dog down or do I get a regulator that is boost referanced? Opinions and options are needed, thank you.

I replaced the pickup tube with 3/8" line, and put in 3/8" all the way to the piston lift pump and added a pusher electric pump, and my fuel pressure goes from 20 PSI part throttle to zero full throttle, so I feel your pain.

I got a Fass 150/95 preset to 17 psi. Never drops pressure. Just called them today to have a 8 psi spring sent. I'm afraid of blowing out the front seal
