Pretty decent price for an hx40 I guess, but is that the turbo you really want for your application? What size is the turbine housing? What else are you running on your truck? What do you want to do with it? Could be a little laggy especially on the low end. Are you running stock h1c now? If so, have you tried just switching to a smaller turbine housing like a 16cm non-wastegated or a 12cm wastegated? You can do that for about 1/2 the price and it makes a big difference - especially with low end spool.
You can upgrade to 60mm compressor wheel and housing later for another $200-300 if that doesn't make you happy.
If you want the HX40, might look for a "super40" Hx35/40 hybrid. You can find an hx35 for about $250 and add the upgraded hx40 60mm 7 blade wheel and housing like this (http://baeturbosystems.com/compressorwh ... 1-2-3.aspx)
for another $200 and probably be much happier. Just my .02.

I prefer the modded H1C I have, vs the PDR HX40 I had on my '97. The H1C has a HTT 60 comp wheel and non-gated 14. Spools MUCH faster. :) Super40 should be similar.

Keep looking. The 6 blade wheel isn't the best one offered. Find a 7 blade intake wheel model.
