Industrial pump help

Postby bigcountryhauss » Fri Nov 09, 2012 7:17 am

Bought an industrial pump to hopefully use for parts but I'm having a difficult time finding info on it. I've googled I've yahooed done all of that trying to find a horsepower range or came size or something just to know if I can use this pump or parts of this pump. Where is a good place to look?

Numbers I can read on the pump
0 460 426 185

Thanks for the help guys

Im still hunting around for ya. I did find a 0460426184 on oregon fuel injection, it was for a stock 91.5-93 intercooled. It also was cross referenced to a 0460426205. You may think about giving them a call or email with your model number.

I referenced the p/n to a pump on Oregon Fuel injection site. 0460426141 152hp. It appears to be a 24v. So, im guessing you need 24v to shut it down.

You mean 24 volts to run it. It may run on 12v, if not, just swap the solenoid, or pull the guts and use a cable shut off.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Needing it to go on my 89 4wd and or provide some internal parts to rebuild my existing pump. Basically trying to take 2 pumps to make one. The industrial pump has no boost fuel control nor does it have the timing solenoid. However the parts can be swapped onto it. I've heard horror stories of the industrial pumps being a small cam plates and the wrong style of governor. I have found that this particular pump came out of a forklift but that's all I've found.

Thank you for what you've found 152 horse should move the truck alright as this will just a stock ride

The H&R on this particular pump are the 12mm version, the 6th and 7th digits (in bold above) of the BOSCH ID are the critical ones.
Those 2 indicate it is a 12mm pump (2) for a 6 (6) cylinder application.
The rotor/head size designation (represented by the 6th digit) is anywhere from 8 through 12, with 8, 9, '0' for 10mm, '1' for 11mm and '2' for 12mm.
As far as the cam plate lift, if it's different, it's negligible at 152 HP.

I'd dis-assemble it and inspect for rust, water and physical damage, particularly the cam plate and rollers.
If it has no rust or damage, swap on your AFC top cover, governor assembly, along with a general re-seal, and run it.

Mark.
