I started my pickup up this morning and noticed it started dripping. It looked like it was coming from the middle section of the pump from the back side. Once the engine got warmed up some it quit leaking. Is there a common place for leaks on the engine side of the pump when it gets cold?

On the back side there is an oval-shaped plate that is sealed with an 'O'-ring, which tends to leak on our well-aged trucks.
It will require removing the pump.
The plate that has the 'O'-ring under it is the gold colored one, near the bottom of the pump, in this pic:
