If it didn't cost a small fortune to ship them it would be worth it.

Here's what I figured:
Lafayette, IN to Spokane, WA- 28 hours and 1900 miles
Fuel economy with trailer in tow- 15 mpg
130 gallons x $3.90 (avg)= $507

And then there's the trip back.

I think it runs about $500-$800 to have it freighted.

You know it will drop when hitting mountains. I had a truck priced to ship from Arizona and cheapest was $1800.

Actually, my intention throughout this whole deal is to take a trip out west one day. I may just find a RC out there and bring it back home with me. I don't have what it takes to do body work, I can't just look at something people will see and say "Ehhh, good enough."

Under my hood? Pffffft, you could throw cow manure under it and the only way anybody would find out is if I had to bleed my injectors or arc my starter while they were standing right there.

I dunno about goin that far south. I'd like to go to Utah, for some odd reason.

Honestly, the only thing I'll plan the trip around is where an Ohio CCW is accepted.

Started to do something, got 3 of 8 body bolts unfrozen. The rear rockers took quite a hit when I dropped the rear jack without checking to see if the bolts were stuck. I guess it's ok since I wasn't using that body anyways...

Sooo, after PM'ing with my pal Hiney on here for a while I'm starting to think about other turbo options. My S300 hasn't returned yet and I'm honestly tired of waiting.

I'm looking to downsize both turbos, sticking with Holset, and probably run a Super40/351 over a HX55-60. I haven't looked too far into the specifics on the primary yet but I'll probably spend the rest of the week or so digging around on it.

I have no real reason to downsize, but even with a leak-free H1c on my truck right now I can smoke out traffic if I hit the throttle too hard. Just typing/thinking out loud here, if anyone has any specs/part numbers on the 50-60 size HX's with decently tight housings let me know. 8)

Well, forget the specs, I just purchased an Eaton M112 supercharger.

I guess I'll have my 475 huffing into this thing one way or another.
