I'm not a diesel ricer,I don't want my truck to smoke out the hwy like I'm some flat brim hat kid. Since I've now fooled around with the dang full fuel screw I can not keep this dang truck from fogging the road while I'm towing, and I also noticed some haze this morning. It was pretty bad too!

I've just now encountered this while pulling a bumper hitch 16' trailer and b2300 kubota backhoe, not heavy in the least.
Alright to correct it i've backed the smoke screw all the way out and now it's not even dreaming of touching the nut on the fuel pin, star wheel is down one turn from flush with its corresponding treads. What's it do.....it still smokes of course.

Now I'm thinking of advancing the timing alittle more,I've already have the tooth jump on the pump gear,so....how far more should I go before killing my low end torque and take off with a load(remember 20k often).
Any other thoughts are welcome as I REALLY hate that haze.....the smoke I will deal with if it can be reasonably controlled.
