Trouble finding engine brackets

Postby rcb » Mon Feb 18, 2013 3:06 pm

I am trying to find the motor mount brackets.

In the link below (hopefully It's ok to do this for reference) it'd be #1 in the diagram,

http://www.jeepdodgeoemparts.com/oem-pa ... ht/3894712

but of course for the Cummins. Does anyone have a part number they can reference? It seems like it shouldn't be that hard to find, but it's quickly getting to that point.

I've found a laundry list of numbers from different sites that all seem to be for gas engines, not diesel.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Not sure he CAN post in the "Wanted" section, he doesn't have 25 posts.
Some of us do have the parts he needs, though.

Odee

Yes I do still need them, if you have a set. I had just planned to try and buy new, as they didn't seem like they should be too expensive, but...

I can do that. I actually have the part that bolts to the block (kinda got taken on that set of engine mounts sadly).

My email is rc_brooks at yahoo.com

So if you have the parts that bolts to the engine, then all you need is the rubber isolators right? You can get the Anchor mounts at many parts houses.

There is a metal bracket that bolts to the part that bolts to the engine. In the first link you can see essentially what the part is. It goes between the part that bolts to the block and the isolator. I think odee may have me taken care of.

I didn't notice that the pic you posted was for a V8..not a cummins. So you need the metal plates that bolt to the engine.
