Thanks! it's no problem at all, just a phone call and $2000 in shipping, then after 4-6 weeks it arrives to Gothenburg, and then i'll need to pay 52.5% in customs, tax and other fees before i can pick it up, and the registration will cost around $1000, yet still it's a lot cheaper than buying one here..

Do you have to pay 52.5% on the price you gave to customs? It sad its cheaper to ship across the sea then the US.
Oskar wrote:Thanks for the info oldestof11! i have decided that i want an intercooled model, they usually have more equipment and an OD trans is good for fuel economy.. what mileage can i expect at highway speed of 55-60mph?
why didn't they build them with converter lock? didn't chrysler have any TCC transmissions back then?
i know nothing about chrysler products, have always owned GM's but once i did a rebuild on my friends 727 transmission, that one was quite simple and easy to work on.
i'm thinking of bidding on this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RARE-199 ... 1e78056829
is there someone that don't live too far from it and is able to check it out for me? of course i will pay as much as you request.

Oskar, what we do here is have the seller make out the receipt for less money, so you pay less taxes.
terryblue2002 wrote:That looks like a pretty good truck. It is 4 wheel drive though. You are better off with a 2 wheel drive. They are a lot less trouble and lower to the ground. I would only get a 4x4 if you absolutely need to have it.Oskar wrote:Thanks for the info oldestof11! i have decided that i want an intercooled model, they usually have more equipment and an OD trans is good for fuel economy.. what mileage can i expect at highway speed of 55-60mph?

I noticed BRAND NEW front swaybar bushings and end links. Nice find!
yes i think i got a nice truck! i made an independent inspection and they found some tiny rust on the front bumper so i'll order a new one from rockauto and get it shipped with the truck, but overall it's in good condition and the transmission was totally overhauled with a new converter. brake rotors and rear brake shoes was changed too.
the grille needs replacement too, i found a new one at rockauto, but it looks like it's missing the DODGE letters, has anybody here bought a new aftermarket grille? is it possible to buy only the letters and stick them to the new grille?
and, i would also like to buy a "CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL" sticker to place on either the top of the windshield, or both side doors, is there any source for those?
