Really there isn't,but......
It really depends on how it pulls,if it does well with a trailer it stays as is.

Where is your idle screw? On most i/c pumps when the screw is bottomed out, they'll idle with no idle screw.

About factory setting,I haven't really moved it much. With out it in there the truck would die out. There maybe something hit on with the claws statement.

I didn't see a LP in your sig so I was assuming you had the stocker.

Stupid question but how old is your fuel filter?

Do you have a W/G on your housing? If so, is it wired, hooked up, open pressure?

Sorry Jon,reckon I should update my sig  . The fuel filter is maybe 6months old, could use one I'd guess,as far as waste gate.....it's wired shut. I don't/didn't see a need for it. I never see 15/20lbs driving normal (pawpaw style  ) mostly, only time it builds 30+ is crawling up on it,even then the hawk eye is on the gauge.

That's what it sounds like to me..... your idle isn't set too low is it?

Idle definitely is not low...1k and nice and smooth.

Air huh? why all of a sudden would I be sucking air after an injector install? Stranger stuff has happened to me

the ride to the house was nice and smooth 8) powercame on smoothly and steadily.

If your idle screw is almost where it was stock (probably 1/2" out ) Your power screw shouldn't be bottomed out, assuming your indexing is on the 2nd mark.....which is usually the stock mark.

All that aside, has it ever idled weird for a few before? Not sure where you could be sucking air or if that's what it was... but everytime I've had a rough idle or funky idle was when I had just done something and had air in the lines.

After reading this entire thread, I'm confused as to where you are now.

Still excessive haze at idle? Are those VCO type nozzles with a large sac?

Sounds like he's got an oversensitive driver in the seat to me, just throw the key in the ignition and go. 8)

Right now I have no haze, light to moderate smoke.....all of which is acceptable now thru the new injectors and timing changes. Now I have the poor cold running crap with it clearing up quickly.
The injectors are 210 horse ppump nozzles that rc had flow honed for me and set to 245bar.

No I'm not overly sensitive,my truck is just expected to run a certain way and it's not.

Found fuel out the bottom of the pump :x guess that's my poor cold start. I dried it off and cranked it up,ran it and no fuel appeared, shut it down and checked it 30min later and its damp.
