Sorry Ellis, I wear my Red Wings to work

Caleb, it isn't hurting too bad, now my knee, that's a different story. It swelled up pretty big, I had a hard time getting around work last night. Bad enough that I couldn't put pressure on it. I iced it down good when I got home at 2:30 this morning. The swelling came down a bit, enough that I can put some weight on it.

Got called back into work to go pee in a cup...good thing I am making double time for this crap!

Whoops...I missed that one  One of the guys at the shop suggested that I get eyes tattooed above it, make a smiley face out of it.

I've tried many different brands of boots, for some reason these Red Wings fit just right.

Ike, that looks better than my finger did, and I know my cut was smaller, only 8 stitches. Keep icing the knee, and try not to twist it if you have to walk or climb on a machine. It won't take much to strain it again. I trashed mine long ago jumping on and off the loaders at work. It didn't start to bother until 10 years later, now I am careful how I climb on stuff. It doesn't take much to strain it again.
Now that you took the pee test, smoke a few bowls, that'll relax you and you'll feel better. ;)
Glad you are doing better.

Thanks Pete. The supervisor called me in today, had to get the knee looked at again and started the investigation. I'm coming out ok on it...bright side of it? Made double time pay!

This is my knee when I got home at 2:30 a.m.

It has since swollen more, putting ice on it every couple of hours, attempting to mitigate this swelling...

Dam Ike that stinks. I hope you didn't tear anything in your knee. Ive had issues with mine for years and know how bad that can mess with you.

Dang Ike  that knee looks terrible. Take some advice and stay off that thing. Knee problems are bad juju man.

In highschool I played baseball and at one game I slid to 3Rd with one leg extended with locked knee, the baseman caught the ball and tagge my knee as my leg hit the bag. I came in hot,and that dude slung that ball and glove hard into the side of my right knee. My leg bent to the side, the wrong way and my knee cap was on the opposite side, not where it should have been  you talk about hurt like a mother! That killed my knee and a full ride to Mississippi state for me. Now days if I side step or knell down and twist that dude gets somekinda twisted up. :(

Sounds like what my brother did Ellis. He popped his knee cap out in practice before the wrestling season and then did again the week before sectionals. He was the #1 seed by a long shot.

Take it easy for a while Ike. Knee injuries seem to come back again and again.

I have had knee issues from my time in the Army, buy nothing too terribly serious, so the doctors say. I beg to differ, as there is some funky movement in it when I have to walk/hobble. Not fun. I have been slowing down a bit lately, just because I realize that I am aging. I might have to dig out my ankle to nut leg brace, seems if my knee moves the slightest bit, I'm down for the count.

This sucks :(

The brace may be a real good idea to hold it still. If you go back to the doctor, run it by him and see what he says.

The doctors were 50/50 on me wearing a brace. I wore my old one today, and my leg feels a bit better. the swelling is starting to go down and I have gained about 20 degrees of movement...

I won't wear the brace at work, but it has helped here at home ;)

Probably will...

This weekend has been pure torture for me, the weather has been beautiful, and I have been stuck in this house almost the whole time...I look outside and there is "The Pile", just begging to be worked on... :?

On another note, I had a little "OOPS!" Thursday morning when installing the clutch hydro's...the little plastic nipple on the clutch hydraulic reservoir broke  and I am having a hard time finding another one. Any options???
