Meh, smart phone ain't so smart, but high def boobies work well. Also Coors spilled on it does not effect boobies. But maybe it does effect my spelling? I'll take boobies over spelling any day of the week though.

There's enough long steep grades, twisty roads out of Redding. Ive done enough road construction out of that area. We could rent a trailer and do a mpg test as well, all in the same area.

I'd be willing to take a drive to CA from PA. As long as my rig is built by then (hoping to have it done by winter) and I have enough notice time in advance. I'll just tell my ma I'll be back for dinner.

Then when is the big 1st gen meeting at one of the members ranch? I've read about it and seen pictures from Andrew. Is there any drag strips and dyno's near by?

Let's face it....this will never happen....everyone is scattered across the country. However if it were to happen, SoCal has a few drag strips, ppe is right by my house, along with other dynos everywhere, plus Disneyland and all the other crap so we could make it family vacation thing too. I don't know if I would even be allowed to compete......does mine meet the 1stgen requirements? It is all 1stgen drivetrain.

I think you quality just fine.

It should probably be called King VE.

If it was in SoCal I would be down. There would be probably the most serious ve'ers right now in that area.

Besides David and a few others...... the ve scene has died back east. Well not died, but there isn't the competition to break records and such back there.

If there were a "revival" of interest in the VE, it is that there are a LOT of people interested in doing the VE conversion on the '98-'02 24 valves.
I say it's about time!
It's not hard to do, the only stumbling point is the injection lines and even that isn't monumental.

In the last year, VE pumps have gone from readily available, to hard as hell to find in even usable core condition.

With that crowd, making big power with the VE is so 10 years ago

But next to seeing pop/beer cans down stacks, zip ties on drive shafts, and Andrew setting his farts on fire, it would make pretty good entertainment!
