Puff?

Postby Deathrod » Sun May 26, 2013 4:32 pm

I have always wondered what causes the 1stgen start up puff....I have a few guesses but I've never really heard why. Anyone have a technical answer?

Well, since I'm the only one wiewing this and it could be whole minutes before someone else shows up, I'll throw mu semi-educated guess in here.

The VE pump starts at full fuel, then the governor dethrottles it when the idle speed comes up enough to affect the weights.
