I looked for you and never saw any other familiar 1st genners. I never saw the crew either, although I got into Terre Haute at 6 pm Friday. I brought Matt's rear bumper, but of course didn't see him and the number I have for him is some hit or miss work number.

It was a pretty sad showing for 1st gens I talked to a kid from up north Saturday morning and watched him make 250 hp (typical tweaks, IC'd) on DP Tuner's dyno before spewing coolant. I should have jumped on a generous dyno like that

I'd agree that the cops were not very helpful in maintaining order. They'd pull over a truck for blowing literally 1 cubic yard of smoke, but I received a first hand report that said they just stood off to the side and didn't try to stop the K-Mart parking lot party that consisted of drunken burnouts and strippers. So much for protecting and serving. You can only ask for consistency and from what I saw and heard it didn't happen.

There was no Matt, Tim Worline, Darwin, Toby, local 1st genners, Philip, or any other of the 'circle' 1st gen guys there. I was less than enthused to go this year. Scheid/the fairgrounds really screwed us 1st gen's over a couple years ago when they made our 'unofficial' 1st gen row, handicap only parking ! After that, we rely on one of the circle 1st genners to bring a camper down, then we can congregate and bs around it. Not so this year. I parked in the back 40, and pretty much just watched the pulls on Friday. We drove the AC'd 93 down and left the crew at home.

Hell I'm sure own yard had more 1st gen's in it than the entire SDX! Bring on SOP!

I saw 3 nonIC 2wds (one mine), 2 black IC'd 4wds, 1 orange IC'd 4x4, one blue/rhino lined IC'd 4x4, 2 gray 2wd duallies (one your's I guess) and a nice white 4x4 CC on a trailer. Plus the Dark Horse ODL truck and Tarr's ODL truck.

Sad.

Sorry Bill and Caleb, I know Matt had to work, I cut alfalfa Friday night and Saturday, this year I have to make hay when the sun shines, maybe next year we can have more of a gathering, I know I did want to meet up and visit, but it just wasn't in the cards this time for me.
