Nah I'm quite tired of spending money. It's sitting slightly down hill in that pic. The bumper is really close to the same height as a 4x4 2500HD, so I think the springs aren't that worn.

My passenger side was my practice side For many reasons

Today the patched-in wheel arch popped out after a bale of hay bounced off the ground and hit it.

However, this is an on-going learning experience. I did not weld on that side at all since it was bound to be the bad side from the get-go. I did the passenger side first on every new experience so I didn't have to look at it every day. The directions on the glue said don't weld, so I didn't. I sure as hell welded the other side since that was the side where I used my own reasoning. Anyways, I now don't trust glue. I would have been more PO'd if a cow had rubbed against it in late November and I would have had to look at a mangled bedside all winter. There's a plus side to everything.

I'll stick it back together tomorrow and do some unplanned painting this weekend.

Warning to all other shade tree mechanics out there- fender glue is not farm tough!

Every day I wish for a better transmission. My 727 is heading south at a high rate of speed. Like warp speed. However both 518s that I have spoken for are in other people's hands still, so I'm practicing some patience You can't rush a good deal

You've seen all the crap I always carry around in my bed. I like putting the tailgate up (that shuts flawlessly btw ) and not worrying that everything is going to fall out.

There will come a time when I look towards twins, but that'll be after I build a transmission. It's one thing after another after another after another
