KSB solenoid

Postby ABeach6882 » Sat Jan 25, 2014 11:30 pm

I'm new to the diesel scene and have recently purchased a 93 w250. The truck runs strong but the other day I noticed a slight leak coming from the line that connects to the top of the KSB solenoid. I tried to tighten it up but it was pretty snug. Its still leaking ( nothing major ) How can I fix this? Will this leak cause any issues? Thanks in advance for any insight you guys may be able to provide.

The only issues it will cause is a fuel leak (annoying).

to fix it, try to take it off and try to tighten it back up...rarely it works, but sometimes.

Otherwise you will probably need a new line. Perhaps you'll get lucky and one of the folks will have an extra.
