Read the fine print on a bottle of 911, it doesn't prevent gel ups, just clears and thaws filters and what not. A couple tanks of kerosene/diesel blended tanks isn't going to hurt a thing. Bio does have a higher cloud/pour point, but the vast majority of places around here treat the fuel anyways...to some extent. Everyone has something different that works for them where they are at and how the fuel is there....and for me, cutting the fuel with kerosene is the only thing that has worked ;)

But it does remove water and prevents icing...i put half a bottle of 911 and half bottle of white power service in mine and havent had a problem but ive only started when it was 0 out....i agree on how fuels are different. Just from northern ia to eastern where you're at Ike is a big difference.

I've read from a ton of people that the air dogs and fass pumps all gelled up when it got cold and most burnt up the motors.

The FASS actually has ports you can run hot water from the engine to as a fuel heater.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

The reason I ask about the air dog is because i have a turbo and injectors to put in this year and I knew I would need more fuel than a mechanical pump can support. Ended up buying an Airdog II 165 and sump. I have a 60/68 borg Warner turbo and 5x14 injectors. I think ill be ok.
