Now that's just disturbing. You guys use blindfolds for your initiations
Ducati- professional nap taker, and thread derailer extraordinaire
Brownie: 80 dodge heavy half. Ghost cummins under the hood, and some sinister plans
The Roo Hunter: 93 w250, lifted, 2 whistle machines, and a bunch of other go fast goodies, uhh..... not there yet
Jaeger: 12 ram 3500. Lifted, exhausted, and fed an excessive quantity of air
The Huntress: 02 Jetta TDI. No muffler, egr, horsepower

Well I see I'll have to watch myself around here. Looks as if I go ford I'll be blind folded,taken advantage of and knocked in the head...... :lol:

Hey Ellis, one thing I would for sure do that I never thought was needed until recently is
spray your truck with a sealer before you paint, I really believe it eliminates fish eye.

I bought a gallon that was pre mixed and ready to spray.
93 W250 STD CAB, AUTO 3.55, GAUGES, 80HP DDP STICKS, DENNY T ,16CM HOUSING, 60MM GILLETT, VE MAXED,BHAF, BHFF, 366 SPRING,P/S INTERCOOLER, TIMS COOLER TUBS, TIMMING 1/8 BUMP,4in TURBO BACK TO DUEL 5IN STACKS,33 12.50 BFG, HOLLEY BLACK, CONVERTER COOMING.

Dar I was told to spray that epoxy primer,after the surfacer,and before paint. Said it was to seal the body surface......is that true?

I think you have the order wrong, so it won't be as bad as you think. It's blind folded, knocked in the head and then taken advantage of! :lol:

I'd take Dar's word over mine, but it's generally primer/surface, then sealer, then paint. That's the ancient way of doing it. The sealer keeps the primer and color separate. It really helps with chips.

I could see how a thin, flat layer of hard, non-porous epoxy primer would do the same thing. I used an epoxy primer and mixed it as a primer/sealer. It's tough as nails.
