Dont forget the chrome edge trim as well! I dont normally do this, but I can get you a discount on all this mexichrome. Building show quality vehicles are expensive. All this bling is important, but Im sure your kids are hungry as well.

So.....today at the shop I had enough BS customer problems and the associated mealy mouth and said effit,I'm workin on the 82.

Got the transfer/main fuel tank mounted and plumbed to a new fuel filter assembly.

Got the fuel gauge sender situated it one of the fuel cap pipe adapter thingy, cut the flang off and drilled and tapped it

I also found that toolbox setting in the conex box (don't know where it came from) and mounted it. It doesn't leave much bed but I doubt I use this thing much like I do the dodge. It'll be fine.

After all that,I still had a couple of hours left so I started wet sanding. I backed that thing out and went to town on it. I uncovered all kinds of high spots and hopefully when I sprsy the surfacer on it tomorrow I can cover those up

Oh yeah I finally got some new rubbers....those where the cheapest,decent brand I could find. 480$ shipped for 4 275 60 15s :)
I like the big letters too

Ellis, how you like that upol raptor liner in the bed? Been looking for something similar for the bed/floor of my M37, something better than herculiner, cheaper than line-x

Where did you get the tires from? I could use those on the Duck.

Don't remember the name,I'm probably only using it till I can get an airdog to throw on it. Hopefully one day anyhow

I will say I learned a valuable lesson with it......before you buy it,ask about the inlet/outlets threads. Make sure it they ain't metric banjo stuff.

Nope and nope. It hasn't been out of the shop or ran since I've started working on it.

 I got a used one from a guy I know, I drilled out the 3/8 size (probably metric) thread and retapped to 1/2 inch npt. Can't go wrong with 1/2 inch!

I like it a lot. Seems tough,I've been on it twisting around and have slid that tank and toolbox around on it without damaging it. It's gripy but smooth. Very easy to apply.

It crossed my mind to do that Pete. If those damn copper washers don't seal off I will.
