Another day,and one step closer to color and clear ;)

Not a good pic but it's proof I'm making headway :)

That has got to be the weirdest color for primer I've ever seen too! It's cream colored :puker:

Levi makes that primer. His GF spits it into a jar for him.

When do you think you will have color on it?

Technically I make that primer.

It's a very exhausting process, I'm thinking of dropping production to small pickups only, I never have time to work on my trucks anymore with all the naps I take.

At least you're making progress. I keep thinking about rolling The Roo Hunter into the shop, but tiredness and laziness keep getting the better of me. I'll try for tomorrow, but I'm not as driven as you guys apparently

Levi, I gave you credit for the primer! Just that your GF helps with production.

Ha! I didn't read it right, I was still delirious from seeing that many 1stgens. Bill's driveway was like pulling into heaven. There was no mistaking which place I was looking for.

Started blocking it back down

That high build primer will show you EVERY imperfection that is on what your working with. I wore thru in a few places just to get a few places flat.

This stuff also makes some pretty fine dust

That looks like it's getting there. Now don't snort that stuff. It'll end up being a bad time

Finished blocking the passenger side today and found some pretty bad low spots and a crease in the bed side,in front of the wheel well....toward the bottom. I don't think it'll be all that noticeable so I think I'm leaving it as 31 year old truck "character". I did however get most of the primer sanded off the high spot and it seemed to make it nearnothing to feel.

The proof of that was me asking my Mom to check it out,if there was a problem with it she'd find it. She's real meticulous and ever more a perfectionist......both things I'm not  I'm more of a get it close and let he roll guy if it's anything othe than mechanical issues ;)
