100psi intercoolers

Postby NEW ERA » Mon Feb 11, 2008 9:50 pm

Now that I have your attention. How much interest would there be in them. Bar and plate 40% better flow than stock. 100psi rated stock replacement. they are 2 1/2 in and out. I have been asked about 3" and can do it but it will cost more and will be on a needed basis. They are going to list for about 900 but thinking about a group buy on this site for around 700.

You need 4" In and out? Is this when you go to the twins? I should be able to do it but may have to make a couple of brackets when you fit. I see what I can come up with.

Chuck,
Most of us are looking for a better intercooler when we decide to install one or upgrade one that already has on.

The popular up grades is a P/S intercooler that has a 3" in/out and a 2nt gen intercooler that is much larger then the stock one. Has 3" tubes with a 4" in/out.

With That said, there is a lot more efficient (in stock intercooled spec') with an up dated design!.......and larger in/out tubes would be a plus.

My truck is a non intercooled design that i have installed a 2nt gen pipes and intercooler just recently.

So I'm not in the market for one right now............But a 2nt gen cooler will be what i will be looking for, when that day comes. ;)
91.0 non intercooled 3/4 ton 5sd ex.straight piped 16cm housing, timing bumped 1/16...Pump . Full power screw1/2 max with out removing the collar. Gear Vender over drive!
"NOW" with 2nt gen intercooler, turbo and 3"Coolertubz, Buy Tim (TWorline)"

The ones PDR has are stock in and outlets. I paid $700 for mine a couple years ago. They were special deals that Mark had someone building for him. He wanted the ends back so he could make new ones.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Chuck, count me in! :bounce: I will need one with 3" in/outs on it. Actually the f**d ps intercoolers are 3.25" in/out.

I'd have been interested a month ago before cutting up a banks cooler to put 3" tubes on it.
