Yes sir 100 percent sure but I tried putting the letter c on the pump gear and it started to run a little better so I kept goin a tooth then it got to where it wouldn't start anymore got to around 3 teeth after the c and it jut kept runnin fairly the same just a little better at times got a little throttle out of it but maybe 200 rpm more so I went the other way the d wouldn't start it and neither would the tooth between the d and e but on e it starts up just idles rough and smokes white I just had the pump resealed is all and I just don't jnow what to do anymore I've bout tried everything

Ok here is where I stand now I took the first 3 firing order injector lines off the back of the injector pump starting with number one and made sure when it spit fuel that it was on the timing mark on the pump and yes it was on and yes key way lines up with the mark on the pump as soon as it spits fuel from number one so what now? I made sure of one thing and the timing marks on the cam and crank also line up perfect so if I put it on tdc and the pump back on it's tdc or mark on the pump body and put the gear on the pump the e lines up the engine starts but won't open up and as I stated before the truck seems to get better after I advance the pump gear 3 teeth past e and kinda get 200 rpm more but not really it just shakes and smokes bad I've bleed injectors and everything multiple times then any teeth past that the truck won't start I'm stumped do y'all maybe think I have injector problems maybe or what? I need some kind of advice I'm needin my truck ASAP it's my only farm truck to pull my gooseneck if I have to I'll post my phone number or whatever I just need help

Any chance you've got the injector lines out of time on the back of the pump?

I've done that before but I've made sure they are all right I took pictures of the lines before I took them off for reference and they are all correct I thought it was a timing issue but now things about it if it's starting on time ad gets better when you try and turn the fuel up it has to be injectors stopped up I had my head off to get a head gasket and when I took the head to get it decked and shaved and cleaned they took my injectors out and gave them to me in a box I'm just thinking somehow they got stuff in them between there and my house I'm gonna try and take them out and clean the internals Tommar ornwednesday I will keep you updated and if this isn't the problem then I guess the pump has a problem but it shouldn't I just had it sealed it was running before that

Just taking a picture won't guarantee no error in putting the lines on, check each line to be sure. Its very easy to mix them up, as several will go on the wrong DV holders on the pump. I'd hand trace them to each injector. Your injectors should be ok. Remember that when you d this, you'll be going in reverse. What I mean by that is that some diagrams show the pump rotation and firing order from the front of the engine, and you'll be looking at the back of the pump.

That's what I done yesterday all the lines are correct and made sure my pump wasn't out 180 degrees I'm gonna take my injectors out and hope that's my problem if not I will go to something else but I'm sure this is the problem because if you turn fuel screw in it wants to run better

Here's my diagram, looking at it from the back, it fires 1-5-3-6-2-4.

Is the FSS weak and not opening all the way or chipped and not opening at all??? (thinking outside the box out loud) ........Maybe try gutting the FSS and see what happens....its worth a shot and your not out much time either way...

All lines are correct and timing I'm guessing it's the injector pump it idles rough and won't rev up and smokes white injectors have been cleaned an timing is right all I'm guessin now is take the pump somewhere to get it worked on has to be that
