The new engine is almost complete. Would of been a few months ago, but we have been in no hurry, and my builder has had a few "emergency" customers walk through the door (ya, like daily ).
But, I have realized that we have never done any sort of a build thread, on anything. Well, here is the "build thread".
Now, I know that a 24 valve ve is in no way a new thing... but I did it for a few reasons.
Ellis will LOVE this... I did it, just so that I could run a 7 hole injector. I know right, me, the hater of 7 holers. I did it because the 24 valve 7 hole injectors are a micro-blind sac.
The engine itself.... High Output 24 valve pistons and engine kit..... Hamilton 188/220 cam.... STOCK 24 valve head, Hamilton valve springs, Decked the block as much as possible to gain compression. Did not do fly cuts or any other sort of fanciness to the pistons.
It will get the 7x11 honed 30% over, and a 62fmw/68/.70, it is o-ringed with A1 head studs.
