I've checked ball joints and wheel bearings. There is hardly enough play to be noticed.

The reason I blamed the steering was I took a turn a little too fast and I felt a slight hop as I took the turn.

If the truck is lifted, there is a different measurement between the steering box and axle compared to stock, no? Therefore the steering geometry would be different. I'd rather spend $xx on an alignment than $xxx on ball joints and wheel bearings. Make no mistake, I'm still a first genner at heart

Caleb the only thing you'd mess with on that truck by lifting it is the steering wheel striaght-ness (there is a sleeve to adjust only that). And the axles caster...as far as I'm concerned there's no adjustment for that.

For those keeping score at home, the inside of the rims I posted a picture of a few pages back are sand blasted, not painted. That was my interesting find of the day.

What is everybody using for a board page? I was using the Prosilver and liked it, but I could only use the smilies off the 1st page of them. The 2nd and 3rd pages would not show up on the reply page. I just went thru all the different boards and found the smilies only work on Serenity for me. And Serenity was way different and will take some getting used to. Anybody else have this problem?

So due to some extra solar activity since March 17th there's been some great aurora borealis lately. Spent some time watching them tonight, and it's kind of neat when they look like they're directly overhead.

I also spent a lot of time today washing, waxing, and pulling the bedside stickers off jaeger. The effort paid off as she looks great right now. Also since I couldn't find the hx35 flange I cut off my diamond eye exhaust I grabbed The Roo Hunters stock downpipe, and I'll try and get a start on building compounds tomorrow

Same here.. It was the first one I found that displayed the pictures properly. There may be others, but when I found this one, I quit looking.. it did take some time to get used to though.

Doing ok I guess. It started 15 miles east of me... right over my jobs warehouse. We lost nearly ALL of our finished product, a good portion of raw product, and put behind schedule a lot of other things. We lost about 1/4 of our warehouse. It started here, went for around 50 miles, classified as a EF4, had up to 3 vortex at once, and leveled a pub with some of the best fish around.

This is the SW wall that collapsed inward. The only thing that kept it constrained to that corner was the offices. They are built up with block walls.Image

Now interior look at the damage.

Same pic as Brad's but looking south at the damage.

NW corner of the warehouse.

About the 1/2 way point of the warehouse. This also connects our dry powder mixing facility.

Inside look at the west wall collapse.

After isolating, restoring, and cleaning a good area to the east of the collapse, we are throwing this up. Machinery starts showing up on Monday to tear down on Tuesday. Thanks the good Lord that we have good relations with ALL of our contractors. Many sent their whole crews to help get this started.

I spent 5 hours last night from 7 to midnight throwing up that plastic sheeting. Put in 9+ today. Looking like another 8 tomorrow and possibly Sunday. They are going to start receiving/shipping Monday to get the plant back up and going.
