And Serenity was way different and will take some getting used to. Anybody else have this problem?

Serenity for me.....since the days of the blackberry

Same here.. It was the first one I found that displayed the pictures properly. There may be others, but when I found this one, I quit looking.. it did take some time to get used to though.

Whatever the original option is, if I feel I need to see a whole pic I juy save it and look at it on my phone. I like the upper left pic in this view, fkcu all your pics.

I use prosilver because if I remember right it's the closest to what I had before the site got updated a few years back. I don't like change much.

Jon glad you are ok, suck up that OT! ;)

I like the Prosilver and hate change too, but only being able to use the 1st page of smilies really sucks! I couldn't take it anymore. :(

The old LT1 (2015+ corvettes have the "LT1" also) was for the fuel injected VORTECH engines. I may be wrong but this us how I understood it as.

This weekend was the Edmonton auto show, so my uncle, dad, brother, and I took my uncles new Chrysler 200 (which is quite nice, and has a ton of fancy features. Adaptive cruise, lane sense (will actually steer you back into your lane), park sense (will park parallel, and perpendicular). the show was pretty good too. Had some good conversations with some of the customizer booth people, and just didn't bother talking to any of the high end manufacturers. Got to see a hellcat charger, and sit in a hellcat challenger

After reading about this engine it was cool to see it in person. What looks like a spacer between the blower, and the head is actually an intercooler running on its own circuit.

Then we saw furious 7 in imax today. It was good

Yes the ignition system and fuel delivery are totally different. In the lt1 there's nothing but an oil pump driver where the distributor is on the vortec. The lt1 distributor is in between the water pump and timing cover. Also the tune ups for the lt1 cost about 4x more than anything else.
To me it's a schit system.

Yeah that's what my conclusion is to. My brother was asking since him and dad were looking at one.

My dad bought a 67 Barracuda from the original owner back in 1989. its just a plain jane 273 car, nothing spectacular or valuable. its been everything from a spare/backup vehicle to a cruiser to a local car show participant. The last time it was driven was 2002. I grew up with it and have decided I need to have it when the time is right. By now it need both rear quarter panels, trunk floor, paint, and who knows about the motor and trans. at least an inspection and freshening. Dad has the understanding that if it ever goes anywhere, its to me. I've always wanted to go through it enough to make it a decent and reliable weekend driver while dad is still around so he can cruise it along with me. Now with my hatred of rust this includes a bunch of money wrapped up in sheetmetal and body work since I cant do it myself.

Fast forward to last Friday. Dad asks me to stop by, and sits me down to tell me he has cancer. My family has been pretty fortunate with illnesses and such so it rattled me pretty bad. Im thinking hard on selling my truck to fund a makeover for the Cuda to get it back on the street. Itd give us both something else to focus on. He tells me not to sell my truck but Im really not sure how else to accomplish this in a decent amount of time.

Sorry to hear the news Jeff. I hope for the best for you and yours.

I think the project idea is awesome. I couldn't maintain my current lifestyle without a truck, but if trucks is were just a hobby, it would be an easy choice for me.
