Is there a way of increasing oil pressure other than bearings and or a new pump?

What oil pressures are you seeing, hot/cold idle and hot/cold cruise?

If you are relying on the factory gauge, pull the plug above the oil filter and screw in a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see how much oil pressure you really have.
