So a few years ago i had to redo my 93 one extended cab due to a drunk driver. A month or so ago we got some news that would mean i would need a bigger truck. Baby number 2 is on the
way. I really like my truck and dont want a truck payment. So i started lookin for a crew cab, almost immediately found one 20 min from my house. $500 and some pushing later i had a truck. No rust and its already gutted and ready to transplant. Then we got some more news, we are expecting 2 new babies! So the rush is on to get the ol girl a face lift. I started stripping the front end today. I have a front seal leak and new oil cooler that will be installed while its apart.

Thanks! It did turn out pretty good, i hate to tear it apart but i have to. I will have a bunch of interior plastic parts for sale and a solid cab if anyone needs parts.

Very nice. Are you going to make it a short bed Dually? Keep the same paint combo?

No, it will be a long bed. Ill stretch the frame. Also no on the paint. The truck will go back to the original charcoal grey that matchs the interior metal color. Then the hood and around the windows will be black. I think lol

Who knew there where so many bolts holding these front clips together! Hahaha. Got alittle work done on the tear down tonight. Passanger side fender, wiper cowl and passanger inner fender arenoff. Im pulling everything cause i have some oil leaks i need to fox and it will be eisier without the front end on. Also got the crew cab cab loaded on the trailer last night

I think i need my head examined. 20°f and im out side finishing removing the front clip. Needs to be done, its goin to get the cab swap done next weekend.

Thanks, i need to get it done before the kiddos arrive. As for my Hankook a/t's. I really like them. Good wear and great traction. I put some coopers on it when i bought it and it would get stuck on a soggy paper bag. They made a big difference

Well its d day. It will be a crew cab by the end of the day. All loaded up and ready!

I didn't realize you were putting the crew cab on the dually frame, I thought you were swapping the engine over to the crew.

10 hrs later its loaded back up and headed home. Frame stretched, cab place back on it, front cover re sealed and oil cooler changed. Pics when i get home.

Thanks lol. Every one said to swap everything over but i had to stretch one frame or the other. Didnt want a short box. Also my 1 ton frame is bigger steel in the back. Not sure it really matters but its 8" instead of 7" off the crew cab.
