So I decided to look through this thread again. In terms of a fairly wild setup Godspeed turbo can upgrade jb s300 cartridges to ball bearing. Doing that to a 62/68/.7 bw sxe should provide almost biblically fast spoolup. Paired with a moderately sized s400 primary would accomplish the low end smoke thing, and give some more top end air.
It was also mentioned a while back whether a higher flowing manifold would adversely affect a ve truck that I never noticed. When I switched from the stock manifold to my steed speed I kept my hybrid holset unchanged, and it spooled identical before, and after, and the steed speed is one of the highest flowing manifolds out there.
I was also talking to a friend of mine who recommended slightly lowering the truck for looks purposes.
