Replacement doors question

Postby boomer » Sun Jun 28, 2020 5:54 pm

Hi guys. Ive literally driven the doors off my 1993 d250. The drivers door sheet metal has fatigued to the point of ripping off the hinges. Im not too keen on finding a donor door since these doors tend to fall apart..but am thinking to buy this. Before i do im hoping to hear sime opinions about my plan. Thanks guys

Mine was all cracked around the lower hinge. I made a plate to fit inside the door that the plate the bolts thread into fit around. I welded it in and the door never bothered again. It's been 12-15 years since I did it.
I see there are no reviews for the door you linked to, darn thing is probably made overseas.

Buy a original door. Repops most of the time do not fit without a lot of bending. They do bend easyer than a factory door.
