Oil Pressure Regulator Valve

Postby Rug_Trucker » Fri Apr 04, 2008 3:33 pm

When I exit the interstate going to work and idle at a light the factory gauge drops to nothing. When I idle at work eventually the gauge goes back up to normal.

I bought another oil pressure sender. I don't know where it goes!

I was looking through my Mitchell CD and saw a topic about the oil pressure regulator valve.

Maybe just the OPS connection is filthy?

Anyone ever experience these symptoms?

Here is a good post to read concerning the oil pressure on our engines. http://www.1stgen.org/viewtopic.php?t=2334 The sending unit is located directly behind the power steering pump.
