quick help please!

Postby nooblet » Tue Apr 08, 2008 3:04 pm

I'm installing my POD's in my non-ic'd CTD. The instillation kit came with some cylindrical o-rings, rubber sleeves and copper washers. I bought the conversion kit from PDR so my non-ic'd engine would accept the smaller diameter injectors.

Do I use the copper washers AND the adapters, or just the adapters?

Where do the O-rings go?

What are the rubber sleeves for?

Here are some pictures of this stuff...

See how its not round? What is this for?

Or like this?

Thanks!

use the adapter only, the rubber sleeve is for C-series applications so ignore it, and the o-rings go in the nuts on top of the injector to keep water and dirt from getting down in the injector bores around the body. If you look at the nuit you will see a recess where you push the o-ring in from the top side.

The rubber o-ring/washer deal goes in the grove on the injector nut. The copper washers are not used with the copper adapters. I have no idea what the giant rubber sleeve is for. They didn't come with my injectors.

Thanks guys. I was calling PDR, but not getting an answer so I posted this. Before anyone replied I finally got PDR on the phone and they answered all my questions!

POD's are in and the truck runs great, I can definitely tell a difference.

Dyno this weekend, we'll see what happens 8)
