hard starting?

Postby hassy21 » Thu Apr 10, 2008 8:48 am

Ever since I put my piston pump on my truck is sometimes lugging during start up. It blows out more black than the stock lift pump but it acts like the starter is goin out. Wondering if anybody had a problem like this before?

Before you replace you starter......check you positive battery cable.........

Mine had a lot of Resistance in it. There was no sign of corrosion, but when i strip the insulation off from it..........It was in there.

As far as the lift pump.......makes sure your connections are tight, on the suction side of the lines.

Did you use the high or low pressure lift pump?
pete

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
