just got a 90 1st gen d250 auto. and im wanting to make it into a drag truck. what all mods can i do to it..

Well, before you can make a lot of power you're going to have to do something with that tranny. If you want a drag truck I would keep an auto, but it'll have to be a built one.

Guages, Decide on your ultimate power/ET goal, Tranny to hold, Injectors and air to support those, Of course IP tuning, Big lift pump, then traction, rear end support. It's all up to how fast you want to go.

i would like to run in the 12s.. and spend the least amount of money. the truck came with a boost and a pyro.. im gonna get a tach and trans temp. guage

also need some info on how to trun the pump up.

follow the recipe for power. crap loads of diesel+ max air= horses. just dont forget to get rid of that burnt diesel. it will bite you in the end. My first mod would be hacking the muffler :salut:
1989 d250 muffler delete diaphram turned, fuel screw turned, the lowes special intake

Speed Costs

i would like to run in the 12s..

Don't know how much you paid for your truck, but I'll wager it will cost you at least triple that amount to get it into the 12s. 12sec. cars are getting pretty common these days, but....
