it could be happing! im going to look at a 92 dodge 4wd. auto loaded, pwr, cruise ect. has 189k guy is aking 4500 firm. said it was his grandfathers old truck and he is selling it. when i go and look at it what should i be conscious of? he says the truck is in great shape.

I'd be looking for all the stuff that's easy fixes you can use to bargain against him.

Unless its really rough, thats a really good price. Just check all the basic stuff. Check all the fluids for level and condition, brakes, lights and charging system, rust... Check the steering shaft for play and the steering box for leaks and cracks in the mounting plate. Other than just check to see if you like it.
